As the Senior Public Health Nutritionist, you will contribute to and coordinate the planning, development, implementation and evaluation of a range of broad statewide, multi-sector health promotion initiatives aligned with Health and Wellbeing Queensland's (HWQld) strategic direction.The focus of the role is on leading the development of an integrated approach to implementation and evaluation of public health nutrition policies in a variety of settings, including healthcare and school environments.

- Applying well developed public health nutrition knowledge, principles and practices to identify novel and evidence-based solutions within a complex health environment.
- Applying your professional knowledge to problem solve, using evidence-based and consultative approaches to inform balanced recommendations within a public policy setting.
- Understanding and applying principles of co-design at a community level, while taking a systems approach to drive behaviour change.
