The Collinsville Coking project is aimed to upgrade the CHPP at Collinsville Coal so that it can achieve the targets set in the LOM plan. From June - September, there will be a total of 3 shutdowns which will require experienced supervision to ensure that the Project Goals are delivered
Reporting to the Project Manager, the Project Supervisor is responsible for fostering a safe, cost effective, target driven environment. This will be achieved by setting and achieving goals, developed leadership skills, and building a good rapport with internal and external stakeholders.
In this role you will be responsible for:
• Ensuring that all project activities are undertaken in a way which is safe and compliant to the SHMS
• Reviewing the quality of installed infrastructure and ensuring that it is in line.
• Monitoring the activities being completed against schedule
• Providing excellent leadership, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Compliance with all HSEC and legislative requirements are met.
• Maintaining a high level of positive safety performance and workplace culture through teamwork, personal commitment, and application of the company values.
About you:
• Trade qualification in either electrical or mechanical trades.
• Previous experience in the industry.
• Experience in construction and/or CHPP supervision will be viewed favourably
• Previous supervisory experience leading multidisciplinary crews of workers.
• The ability to work shift work on a rotational roster.
• This role requires a safety conscious candidate prepared to challenge the norm, drive continuous improvement with an ability to coach Project contractors to achieve a high degree of work standards.
