The Role
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Raise Bore Project Supervisor to join our team. This role is FIFO with a roster of 2 weeks on and 2 weeks off (dayshift), with possibility of 2 weeks on and 1 week off depending on project requirements. You can FIFO from any capital city airport, meals and accommodation are provided, and a portion of travel time is paid!
Perth, WA based applicants preferred.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of raise bore projects, ensuring all objectives are met within the specified timelines and budgets.
- Lead and manage a diverse team of professionals, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure high performance and productivity.
- Enforce strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations, conducting regular safety audits and promoting a culture of safety.
- Monitor and ensure the highest quality standards are maintained throughout the project lifecycle, implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, addressing their needs and concerns promptly, and providing regular project updates.
- Efficiently allocate and manage resources, including manpower, equipment, and materials, to optimise project outcomes.
- Develop and manage project budgets, tracking expenses and implementing cost-saving measures without compromising quality or safety.
- Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies, resolving issues swiftly to minimise impact on project timelines.
- Prepare and present detailed project reports, including progress, financial status, and any issues encountered, to senior management and stakeholders.
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices, seeking opportunities to improve processes, technology, and methodologies used in raise boring projects.
Skills and Experience Required
- Demonstrated experience operating Raise boring rigs
- A background in a civil construction
- Have previous supervisory and construction project management experience
- S1, S2, S3 qualification
- Manual C Class Drivers’ Licence
- Capability to successfully complete Pre-Employment Medicals & Drug and Alcohol Screens
- Have your Senior First Aid Certificate (or be willing to obtain it).
- Be willing to obtain a National Police Clearance.
- A strong safety focus and be a role model for safety
- The ability to manage multiple tasks / projects and prioritise works
- Experience in executing project works including timeline and cost management
- High computer literacy with experience with Microsoft Office suite
- Forward planning, strong contract management skills and safety orientation will see you lead the team to successfully
- Strong interpersonal, and leadership skills to effectively deploy, monitor and lead the safety performance of your crews

- RIIHAN311F – Conduct Operations with Integrated Tool Carrier – Desired but not mandatory

- Crane CN License - Desired but not mandatory
