The Transformation, Risk and Governance Specialist specializes in change management strategy, with the aim to align people, process, and technology initiatives of Northern Trust to corporate and business unit strategy and vision. This helps to support and innovate new business strategies and operating model amendments on behalf of clients and partners.
Uses specific knowledge of a discipline to achieve goals through own work. Has specific knowledge or expertise typically gained through formal education or equivalent experience. Uses expertise to provide guidance to others as a project manager or consultant. Requires specialized depth and/or breadth of expertise in own job discipline or field. Leads others to solve complex problems. Works independently, with guidance in only the most complex situations. May lead functional teams or projects.
Key Responsibilities Include
TransformationLead Transformation Prioritisation and Business Change Framework for FR and liaise with the broader transformation programDesign Run Change Control Reporting and Framework (change impacts on LE Governance, Controls, GS007, etc.)Risk and ControlAssist BAU in the running of GS007 reviewsDesign and run change/risk measurement program across FR teamsAssist in the strategy and execution task migration between offshore sitesLiaise with FLOD on framework/documentationGovernanceAssist management/transformation and IT teams in the design and execution of an FR Data Control programCreate KPI and Tracking for offshore governance/ issue reportingEstablish Lead SLA/KPI Meeting between on- and off-shore teamsKey Participant – FYE Coordination Team (with Head of FR or Delegate)
Major Duties

Knowledge
Requires specialized depth and/or breadth of expertise in own job discipline or field Interprets internal/external business challenges and recommends best practices to improve products, processes or services Communicates difficult concepts and negotiates with others to adopt a different point of view Excellent oral and written communication skills are required In-depth Functional / Industry Knowledge is required Highly flexible and adaptable to change Leadership and organizational skills are required to determine the Business Unit's goals, resources needed, and to assess and develop the skills of staff.
Experience
May lead functional teams or projects with moderate resource requirements, risk, and/or complexity Seasoned expert with extensive technical and business knowledge and functional expertise that has been developed over 15+ years and/or equivalent experience.
