Your focus will be on educational leadership, participating in delivering the vision of State Schools Division, developing the quality of teaching and learning, nurturing positive relationships between students, teachers, the community and stakeholders.

About The Role
This position includes both a teaching role and leadership of the school's Student Support Team.The position is line-managed by the Principal and is part of the Leadership Team.The Head of Special Education Services is accountable to and works under the direction of the Principal or delegate.
Your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Promoting an inclusive culture and practices within the school community to ensure equity and excellence for students with disability.Developing and supporting high-quality teaching and adjustments for students with disability, in line with relevant legislation and policies.Connecting with internal and external stakeholders to lead the development of approaches that enhance curriculum engagement for students and families within the community.
