Our client SA Power Networks has received its Australian Energy Regulator (AER) Regulatory Determination for 2020-2025. To continue to achieve our successful ranking as Australia’s most efficient state-wide distribution network service provider whilst working with a challenging reset determination and ageing network, SAPN and IT 2020 - 25 Regulatory objectives are to:- Manage business and network costs through the efficient use of data and digital technology

You will be available to commence work from the 28th of April 2025 (or asap post that date) for an initial period of 12 months, with likely extension for the right candidate, subject to performance and further investment approvals.
The Infrastructure Business Analyst will report to the Business Analysis & Test Capability Manager from an admin and capability perspective.
They will be a part of a range of projects and initiatives within the infrastructure domain and will report to their assigned Project Manager(s) for their project-related tasks and responsibilities.
The resource will need to have had previous experience working with an IT department similar to SA Power Networks, ideally with experience with:
- Core BA skills, such as data analysis in Excel, facilitating workshops, requirements gathering, benefits identification and realisation.
- Soft skills, such as those required to effectively communicate complex concepts in layperson terms, and to appropriately manage stakeholder expectations.

- Lean process improvement to identify areas of waste or areas of a process that can be
- Working in an agile environment, whilst not necessarily implementing an Agile methodology.
- Project establishment and closure activities, such as problem identification/definition, development of business cases, identification of project budgets, and operational handover support (including development of associated documentation).
- Infrastructure projects
- Infrastructure networks
- Hosting services
- Data Centres; and
- Cloud / Microsoft Azure.
- A dynamic and flexible approach to respond to the changing needs of the business;
- A dynamic and facilitative project team member, willing to undertake any task required to deliver the team objectives; and
- Creative with the ability to think outside the box for innovative solutions.
- Prior experience at SA Power Network or another enterprise/utilities
