The Vines Golf Club, one of South Australia’s premier sporting clubs, is seeking a passionate and experienced Golf Store Retail Coordinator to take a hands-on role in driving the success of our Golf Store , while also supporting golf operations and member services .
This is a hands-on, customer-facing role , working directly in the Golf Store to enhance the retail experience for members and guests. You’ll use your golf knowledge and retail expertise to manage product selection, stock control, and in-store promotions, while also assisting with golf operations tasks such as competition management, tee sheet administration, and general member enquiries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day retail operations of the Golf Store.
- Drive retail sales growth through product selection, merchandising, and creative promotions.
- Manage stock control, ordering, and product margins.
- Complete stocktake and manage inventory.
- Work closely with our PGA coaching team to promote lessons, clinics, club sales and fitting services.
- Assist with golf operations tasks , including competition management, tee time bookings, and event coordination.
- Deliver exceptional member and guest service across all areas of the Golf Store and golf operations.
- Identify opportunities to cross-promote memberships, club events, and hospitality offerings .
- Develop and deliver in-store promotions and member offers.
What We’re Looking For:
- Strong understanding of retail.
- Previous retail experience , preferably within a golf club, pro shop, or sports store .
- Golf knowledge is essential — you should understand equipment, apparel, and the game itself or be a quick study.
- Strong communication and customer service skills, with a member-first mindset .
- Confidence working across both retail and operational tasks .
- Ability to work weekends as part of a rotating roster.
Hours & Flexibility:
- Part-time and full-time options available .
- Weekend work required as part of a rotating roster.
