Description:
As the Director, provide strategic leadership and engagement in the measurement of organisational efficiency and effectiveness that helps business leaders realise opportunities for better decisions, better implementation and better performance.You will also lead the strategy, engagement and delivery of innovative solutions built on SharePoint and the Microsoft Power Platform that make it easier for staff to engage with risk management, planning and performance reporting and helps leaders optimise the use of their business resources.
Your key responsibilities
- Act as key liaison between central agencies, Offices of the Attorney-General and Director-General, and departmental leaders in the preparation of quality briefings and publications used in annual reporting, service delivery statements, Estimates Committee Hearings and progress reporting of government commitments and objectives.
- Ensure reporting obligations are met with a proactive, organised and planned approach to preparing for annual processes ahead of time, including the collection and analysis of performance information through the year.
- Oversee the delivery and support of foundational branch system architecture that enables the reuse of source data and workflows across branch applications within information management and security protocols.
- Lead the team to identify opportunities for adding value through innovation, collecting and preparing business requirements, options analysis and potential solution designs within ICT project and architecture guardrails.
- Ensure a strong client service focus and build positive partnerships with corporate and business leaders to ensure effective change implementation and staff preparedness for new process and system adoption.
- Lead the Performance and Innovation Unit, ensuring the effective deployment of staff and maintain an optimistic outlook that fosters a positive workplace culture and promotes the psychological health and safety for staff and others.
- Proven strategic leadership and management experience, including demonstrated ability to lead change and innovation with an organised and planned approach.
- High level communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to develop organisational capability and promote outcomes from continuous business improvement.
- Possesses a comprehensive understanding of navigating complex public administration policies and systems in relation to organisational performance measurement and reporting.
- Extensive experience in project and change management in order to prioritise, schedule, estimate, and deliver projects within complex governance, stakeholder and resourcing requirements.
- Demonstrated knowledge of business and data analysis practices to effectively translate business requirements into suitable solutions built on SharePoint and the Microsoft Power Platform.
