About the team
At Corporate Office, our Technology team provides end to end services for our Corporate Office, as well as supports knowledge sharing and best practice across the Wesfarmers Group.
What you’ll do
Project-based infrastructure deployment and implementation
- Collaborating on infrastructure designs and architecture
- Deploying and configuring new infrastructure solutions (servers, storage, cloud services, networking)
- Executing migration projects, such as moving workloads from on-prem to cloud or modernising legacy infrastructure
Infrastructure automation and optimisation
- Implementing Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) solutions (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation)
- Automating repetitive tasks such as provisioning, configuration management, and deployments
Technical project delivery
- Collaborating with architects to translate designs into working infrastructure
Security, compliance and risk management
- Ensuring security best practices are followed during deployments
- Applying compliance requirements (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, CIS Benchmarks)
Handover and documentation
- Documenting deployed solutions for operational and support teams
Cross-team collaboration
- Working with solution architects and cloud engineers to implement designs
What you’ll need
- Strong knowledge of networking, virtualisation, and automation
- Cloud and on-premise expertise: strong knowledge of Azure, AWS, VMware, Windows Server
- Networking: experience with enterprise networking firewalls, VPNs
- ITIL and service management: understanding of ITIL processes, including incident, problem, and change management
- Automation and DevOps: ability to automate tasks using Terraform, PowerShell, Python, or equivalent scripting languages
- Project management: experience in delivering technology projects including handover to support processes
- Documentation and knowledge sharing: strong technical writing skills for SOPs, system guides, and knowledge base articles

It leads capital allocation and portfolio management for the Group and focuses on leveraging and enhancing the Group’s reputation to support attraction and retention of talent, securing investment opportunities and maintaining a low-cost capital.
