About the role
As a Collections Officer your key responsibility is to work as a member of our small Collections team alongside the wider Finance team to ensure that all monies are collected from outstanding accounts from patients, insurance companies and employers.
Computer literacy and a pleasant & professional phone manner is key as you will be dealing with people over the telephone and via email.
This position is Full Time working week days from our Subiaco office which is located a convenient 2 minute walk from the train station.
Candidate requirements
- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably within the health & medical field
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact with a diverse range of people
- Excellent communication and influencing skills, particularly over the telephone
- Computer literacy
- High level data entry skills with a focus on attention to detail and accuracy
- A kind nature
- The ability to work autonomously and as part of a wider team
