About the role
Permanent full time opportunity to supervise, coordinate and support all administrative support services within the Emergency and Trauma Centre (ETC), adapting to change and contributing quality improvement activities to ensure the ongoing delivery of a client focused service.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
- Lead and direct administrative staff to enable the achievement of best practice administrative services ensuring a coordinated, integrated service with the allocated budget that meets key performance indicators and business requirements.
- Provide advice to the Administration Manager, senior management and other stakeholders throughout ETC operational areas on the identification of risks and opportunities, change management and mitigation strategies and client focused service delivery.
- Delegate tasks as required, developing others and creating an environment which encourages fairness, building on service and staff capability by promoting opportunities for staff education, training, development and undertaking performance management when applicable.
- Ensure compliance with statutory legislation, regulation, policies and procedures pertinent to the delivery of operational services and develop, interpret and coordinate the implementation of new and existing policies in consultation with operational Directors and Managers.
