About you If you’re a proactive and creative communications professional looking to make an impact, we want to hear from you! As the Communications Coordinator, you will work as part of the University Communications – Student Experience team to deliver best practice communications to students and staff. This role will play a pivotal part in planning, designing, and delivering a range of communications. You will create high-quality engaging content that’s tailored to target audiences, including email newsletters, social media posts for internal and external platforms, video content, and news stories for RMIT’s student and staff websites. You will also disseminate content through email and web channels, and measure the success of communications through regular reporting and data analysis. This role supports the Senior Communications Manager and other communications team members to ensure that all communications are accurate, strategically-aligned and effectively implemented. To be successful in this position, you will have: - An undergraduate degree in communications, PR or similar. - Experience creating content for social media and other digital channels including photography, video production, designing with Canva. - Strong professional writing and editing skills, with demonstrated ability to write for different audiences and channels. - Good interpersonal, communication and relationship building skills. - Experience with email management tools (Marketo, Mailchimp, Campaign Monitor) and web publishing tools (AEM, Wordpress, Squarespace) would be advantageous.
