As an Accounts Officer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth financial transactions and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers, customers, and internal teams. Your responsibilities will include:
- Accounts Payable – Processing supplier invoices, managing approvals, preparing payment runs, and resolving queries
- Accounts Receivable – Generating invoices, managing debtor accounts, following up on outstanding payments, and reconciling accounts
- Bank and Account Reconciliations – Ensuring accurate financial records and resolving discrepancies
- Data Entry & Reporting – Maintaining up-to-date financial records and assisting with month-end reporting
- Stakeholder Communication – Liaising with internal teams, suppliers, and customers to ensure efficient payment and collection processes
- Experience in Accounts Payable and/or Receivable within a finance team
- Proficiency in accounting software (Xero, MYOB, SAP, or similar)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in processing financial transactions
- Excellent communication skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to manage deadlines in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
- A proactive and problem-solving mindset to identify and resolve discrepancies
