Position Title: Project Officer – Facilities Management (Fixed Term)Location: Eastern Shore

We are partnering with a well-regarded organisation in the Greater Hobart region to source an experienced Project Officer for a fixed-term, 6-month opportunity supporting facilities management operations.
This key role will see you coordinate the maintenance, planning, and project delivery for a range of community-focused facilities. You’ll work closely with internal stakeholders and contractors to implement efficient asset management programs, support system improvements, and ensure high-quality service outcomes.
The role includes:
- Developing and managing asset maintenance schedules and programs
- Contributing to facilities-related strategies and frameworks
- Coordinating scheduled and unscheduled works to meet service standards
- Assisting with project supervision, budget preparation, and reporting
- Supporting and occasionally leading a small team in the absence of the Team Leader
- Engaging with system improvements and procurement processes
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline (e.g., facilities, project or asset management)
- Strong background in facilities maintenance, project coordination, and team leadership
- Experience with procurement and budgeting processes
- Confident communicator with strong organisational and stakeholder engagement skills
- A current driver’s licence is required
