Are you an experienced WorkCover Administrator with an interest in learning payroll, or an experienced WorkCover Payroll Administrator seeking a new opportunity? We have an exciting 15-month fixed-term contract available for the right candidate.Position Overview:
The WorkCover Payroll Specialist is responsible for calculating and processing Workers Compensation payments in line with EBA's and policies, ensuring compliance, accuracy, and timely payments to recipients.
Reporting to a WorkCover Payroll Team Lead;
Key Responsibilities:
- Process weekly and fortnightly payments to recipients
- Provide excellent customer service and build strong relationships with stakeholders
- Generate reports and manage reconciliations, including monthly Current Weekly Earnings (CWE) reporting for insurer reimbursement and payment reconciliation.
- Use payroll knowledge to update leave, working time, wages, and calculate accurate PIAWE and CWE for payments.
- Ensure absolute confidentiality of all information at all times
- Assist with continual development of processes and procedures.
- Strong experience in WorkCover administration or payroll processing, with a keen interest in expanding your skillset in both areas.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Ability to work within established processes and timelines, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Experience with WorkCover calculations, including PIAWE and CWE, is highly desirable.
- Proven ability to provide detailed reporting and reconciliations in a timely manner.
