The Role: Maintenance Manager - Simulation
Join a dynamic team maintaining cutting-edge Collins Submarine Simulators at HMAS Stirling, WA. As a Maintenance Manager , you’ll conduct operations and maintenance management of two critical simulators supporting Navy training.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage simulator maintenance and site operations.
- Ensure compliance with manufacturer and customer standards.
- Lead, train and develop a small team.
- Maintain strong customer and stakeholder relationships.
- Monitor and manage personnel performance and site compliance.
- Able to work autonomously with minimal supervision.
- Collaborate with engineers to solve technical issues.
Your Skills, Qualifications and Experience:
- Qualification in electronics, IT or similar.
- Leadership experience in a high-tech environment.
- Team leadership and problem-solving ability.
- Managing the site team members to help them achieve their key accountabilities and responsibilities.
- Willing to travel interstate on an infrequent basis (2-3 times/yr) for meetings or training.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a technical supervisor in an operational or workshop environment.
Highly Desirable Qualifications and Skills:
- Experience in simulation or other technical maintenance environment.
- Navy
