Position Details
LITERACY COORDINATOR
This is an ongoing position commencing Term 2, 2025. This role would be suitable for primary teachers looking to move into a secondary setting. This position will have a teaching load in Learning Support.
As the Literacy Coordinator you are responsible for coordinating and providing leadership for all activities related to whole school literacy at the College.
Your Day Will Look Like
coordinating the development and implementation of the whole school programs. utilising effective and contemporary teaching and learning to scaffold and differentiate to enhance student outcomes. supporting the Vision for Learning to grow courageous, flexible, engaged and connected learners. being committed to the holistic growth of students. being a role model of the College's values. actively supporting Catholic identity and the development of faith. building and maintaining strong relationships based on mutual respect with students, families and peers.
Selection Criteria
For This Role, You Will Need
a tertiary teaching qualification and TRBWA registration. a current Working with Children Registration. to be prepared to support the Catholic ethos in the performance of their duties. the ability to teach Religious Education would be highly advantageous.
