About the Division
IMTD is responsible for supporting one of the largest technology networks in Victoria and leading the department's technology, digital capability, business systems and digital transformation. This network consists of Schools, Corporate and Early Childhood Education (ECE) including a school user base of more than 1500 Government schools, 50,000 teachers and 650,000 students.
IMTD provides innovation and leadership in the transformation and management of the Department's digital capability through the implementation of solutions on the department's cloud environment (IaaS), enterprise cloud platforms (PaaS) and software (SaaS), using agile practices with a focus on user experience, security, and integration.
About the Role
An exciting opportunity has become available for a Delivery Coordinator to join the ELCC Program, and coordinate across multiple IMTD technology delivery branches to ensure smooth communication and alignment.
We are looking for an individual who will thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage requirements gathering, planning, and delivery for infrastructure components and new ELCC site activities. Strong organisational skills and the ability to proactively identify and address issues will be critical in this dynamic role. They will be a self-starter with good communication skills and a can-do attitude.
Attributes
We are seeking a candidate to manage and coordinate various aspects of IMTD's technology delivery. Key responsibilities include overseeing the IMTD delivery structure, ensuring effective cross-branch communication, optimising infrastructure delivery, gathering requirements, and managing financials for the VSBA/IMTD budget. The role also involves collaborating with vendors (Telstra, IPTEL), managing procurement for ELCs, maintaining relationships with builders and contractors, and coordinating remote and onsite support services. Regular status updates, internal escalations, and participation in ELCC Program meetings are also part of the role.
