Boral Cement Geelong is seeking a Mechanical Reliability Technician to carry out tasks that will improve the reliability and efficiency of the business with a particular emphasis on planned and predictive/ preventative maintenance.

Your day will involve:

  • Repair and maintenance of plant and equipment,
  • Emergency adjustments to plant and equipment as required
  • Supervising and leading contractors
  • Coordinate after hours breakdowns in consultation with Maintenance Supervisor
  • Conducting Isolations
  • Undertake stores duties including but not limited to deliveries, receipting, and stocktaking
  • Data interpretation and analysis

What we are looking for:

  • Trade Qualified Fitter with a welding competency or Trade Qualified Boilermaker with Fitting experience
  • Minimum of 5-7 years post trade experience in a heavy manufacturing / production environment including 1-2 years in contractor supervision and process management experience
  • High risk licences including but not limited to forklift, elevated work platform, crane operations and rigging/Dogman.
