Boral Cement Geelong is seeking a Mechanical Reliability Technician to carry out tasks that will improve the reliability and efficiency of the business with a particular emphasis on planned and predictive/ preventative maintenance.
Your day will involve:
- Repair and maintenance of plant and equipment,
- Emergency adjustments to plant and equipment as required
- Supervising and leading contractors
- Coordinate after hours breakdowns in consultation with Maintenance Supervisor
- Conducting Isolations
- Undertake stores duties including but not limited to deliveries, receipting, and stocktaking
- Data interpretation and analysis
What we are looking for:
- Trade Qualified Fitter with a welding competency or Trade Qualified Boilermaker with Fitting experience
- Minimum of 5-7 years post trade experience in a heavy manufacturing / production environment including 1-2 years in contractor supervision and process management experience
- High risk licences including but not limited to forklift, elevated work platform, crane operations and rigging/Dogman.
