About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Inspector/Painter to join our team in the oil and gas industry. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in industrial painting and coating applications, along with inspection expertise to ensure quality and compliance with industry standards.
This role operates on a Fly-In Fly-Out (FIFO) basis with a 2:1 roster and is a 6-month project , offering a dynamic work schedule with travel and accommodation provided.
Key Responsibilities:

• Perform surface preparation and coating applications in line with industry standards.
• Conduct inspections to ensure compliance with specifications and quality requirements.
• Identify defects and recommend corrective actions.
• Work collaboratively with the team to maintain safety and quality standards.
• Maintain accurate documentation and reporting of inspection results.

Mandatory Requirements:

• Cert III in Surface Preparation and Coating Application (for painting duties).
• NACE Level 2 Certification (for inspection duties).
• Previous experience in industrial painting and inspection within the oil and gas sector.
• Strong understanding of coating specifications and industry best practices.
• Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to regulations.

Desirable:

• Additional certifications in coatings inspection or quality control.
• Experience working on large-scale industrial projects.

Pre-Employment Requirements :

• Successful completion of a pre-employment medical.
• Police check clearance required.
