Description:
Your primary objective will be to ensure the efficient utilization of facilities within a warehouse environment. You will be responsible for improving processes within receiving, inventory, packaging, logistics and dispatch. .
Key responsibilities will include:
- Arrange prompt and accurate delivery of products to customers
- Direct the planning and assignment of work for the most efficient use of personnel and equipment
- Develop and recommend improvements in office and warehouse practices to promote efficiency, faster service and lower costs.
- Liaise with suppliers & stock purchasing
- Ensure activities comply with legal and ethical standards
- Partake in ad-hoc projects relating to the warehouse
What we want in you
To be successful in this role you will need to demonstrate the following competencies/experience:
- Experience in Fiberglass or Automotive Paint would be advantageous
- Proven ability to implement processes and improvement initiatives
- Hands on experience with warehouse software and databases
- Strong decision making and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills
- Excellent analytical and organisational skills
- Certificate III in logistics, supply chain management or business administration, desirable but not essential
- Current Full Australian Driver’s Licence
- Forklift Licence
- Strict Safety & OHSE awareness
