About us

Fonterra’s Spreyton site is a key part of our Tasmanian operations, processing high-quality dairy products that serve both local and international markets. The site plays a crucial role in milk processing, cheese production, and warehousing.

About The Role

We’re looking for an experienced Warehouse & Logistics Manager to join our team at Fonterra’s Spreyton site. This is an opportunity to play a pivotal role in overseeing warehouse operations, inventory management, and distribution processes, ensuring efficiency, safety, and optimal service delivery. Key responsibilities :

  • Leading warehouse operations to ensure seamless product flow, including the receipt and storage of raw materials and the dispatch of finished goods
  • Managing logistics and distribution processes, ensuring customer service targets are met
  • Driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance warehouse efficiency and cost-effectiveness
  • Overseeing inventory management, ensuring accurate stock control for both raw materials and finished products
  • Developing and mentoring your team, fostering a high-performance culture
  • Managing relationships with third-party suppliers and logistics providers

About You

You’re an experienced warehouse and logistics leader with a strong background in inventory management and supply chain operations. You’ll bring:

  • 5+ years’ experience in warehouse management or logistics
  • Proven leadership skills, with a track record of building high-performing teams
  • Experience managing budgets, cost controls, and warehouse efficiencies
  • Strong understanding of safety, compliance, and Lean manufacturing principles
  • Expertise in handling raw materials and finished goods within a complex supply chain
  • The ability to problem-solve, coach, and drive process improvements
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Experience in technical documentation and reporting
