The Warehouse Assistant role will encompass a variety of warehouse duties, including driving our MR trucks across the Southern Tasmania Region for donation collection, store deliveries and assisting other members of the team. This position also includes sorting of donated goods in the warehouse.

Our ideal candidate will be friendly, approachable, and committed to making a difference in our community.

Requirements/Skills

  • Current MR Truck License
  • Warehouse or logistics experience would be useful but not required
  • Current Manual Drivers License with clear driving record
  • Current Forklift License
  • Exceptional communication skills on all platforms and the ability to show empathy and compassion with all interactions
  • Self motivated and the ability to motivate others around you
  • Demonstrate a flexible and willing approach to working in a diverse team
  • Ability to manage time effectively
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt to changing environments and demands
  • Knowledge and understanding of safe work practices and a proactive approach to WHS

The successful applicant must hold a current compliant National Police Check, along with a valid Tasmanian Working With Vulnerable People Card or the ability to obtain.
