Our OSHC team is seeking to find our next superstar Lead Educators in a casual capacity. This role is to service any of our locations - Koo Wee Rup, Lang Lang, Bayles or Drouin South. Currently this program focuses on providing before and after school care from Monday to Friday.

CS Level 4.1 Hourly Rate - $32.03 without Salary Packaging, this is the equivalent to $35.37 with Salary Packaging
CS Level 4.2 Hourly Rate - $32.52 without Salary Packaging, this is the equivalent to $35.93 with Salary Packaging
CS Level 4.3 Hourly Rate - $33.01 without Salary Packaging, this is the equivalent to $36.55 with Salary Packaging

We are seeking 2 x Casual community minded educators to join our Out of Hours Care (OSHC) program for our services in Koo Wee Rup, Lang Lang, Bayles or Drouin South . This is an exciting opportunity to not only lead a team of educators and manage your program but to really make the role your own by bringing your infectious energy in developing and delivering a unique, inclusive and fun-filled play-based programs to school age children. Furthermore, you will:
- Lead planning, preparing and delivering innovative play-based learning activities
- Lead staff to ensure professional working relationships with families, school leaders in the school community are maintained
- Maintain excellent health, safety and wellbeing of children through management of compliance
Key Selection Criteria:
- ACECQA approved qualification for Educators working with over preschool children
- Current Victorian Working with Children’s Check and Victorian Drivers’ Licence.
- Current certificate in "HLTAID012 Provide First Aid in an education & care setting" (First Aid and Asthma & Anaphylaxis Management) or willingness to undertake before start
- Current certificate in "HLTAID009 Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation" (CPR) or willingness to undertake before start
- Understanding of the needs and development of school age children
- Previous experience and/or Food Safety Handling certificate would be an advantage
- Demonstrated experience in working within the National Quality Framework
- Demonstrated ability and understanding of developing positive relationships with children and families
- Willingness to promote and support practices that are inclusive, culturally responsive, safe and accessible.
- Willingness to undertake pre-employment screening - Working with Children, Police check and medical assessment.
- Current Victorian Drivers’ Licence.
- Right to Work in Australia e.g. Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
