As part of this commitment, The School Locker operates the on-campus retail store , providing students and families with high-quality uniforms, school supplies, and essential resources. We are seeking a Casual Campus Store Customer Service Assistant to join our team and help deliver an outstanding retail experience to the Redeemer community.
About the Role:
As a Casual Campus Store Customer Service Assistant , you will assist families with purchasing and fitting school uniforms while ensuring a smooth and efficient shopping experience. You will also support stock management, process sales, and maintain store presentation. This is a hands-on retail role where attention to detail and customer care are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide friendly and helpful customer service to students, parents, and staff.
- Assist customers with uniform fittings to ensure correct sizing.
- Operate the point-of-sale system , process transactions, and handle payments accurately.
- Manage stock levels , including receiving deliveries, replenishing shelves, and organising displays.
- Process and manage online orders , including packing and coordinating collections.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised store environment in line with company and school standards.
- Work independently and as part of a team to ensure smooth store operations .
Skills & Experience:
- Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred but not essential.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly and professional approach.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, particularly during peak trading periods.
- A proactive team player with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
- Confidence in using point-of-sale systems and handling cash and card transactions.
