About the role:
The Lead Operations Manager plays a vital role to the Chief Operating Officer (COO) as well as a cross divisional role for the effective delivery of operational and contractual activities and projects within the Anangu Lands and Yalata including school and preschool sites, the LET, the trade training centre, employee housing and department managed swimming pools. The role will include representing the Chief Operating Officer and the department (e.g. Asset Strategy and Performance Directorate) through direct liaison and collaboration with site leaders; key stakeholders including the Crown Solicitor’s Office, RASAC, APY Council, PYEC, the education and assistant education directors, LET staff and senior management as well as providing specialist operational oversight to the department’s Anangu Lands initiatives, programs and minor and major works projects.
Qualifications:
Essential: Nil.
Desirable : Relevant appropriate tertiary qualifications or extensive knowledge and experience in operational management.
Special conditions:
The successful applicant is required to gain a Department for Human Services (DHS) working with children check (WWCC) prior to being employed which is required to be renewed every five years before expiry. The incumbent will be required to undertake RRHAN –EC (Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect - Education Care) Facilitator Lead (Masterclass) extended course or the online (Fundamentals) course which will be required to be updated every three years.

Remuneration:
ASO8 $121,107 - 125,679 per annum (1.0 FTE) + superannuation (11.5%) and leave loading
