Role Details

The Collection Manager, Biological Sciences Terrestrial Invertebrates, is responsible for the collection, preparation, identification, incorporation, loan, scientific study, and interpretation of specimens in the South Australian Museum s Biological Collections, with particular responsibility for the Terrestrial Invertebrate Collection, and for facilitating public and research access to these collections.


Special Conditions
  • The Incumbent will be required to participate in the department's Performance Management Program.
  • The Incumbent may be assigned to another position at this remuneration level or equivalent.
  • Some work outside of normal hours will be required.
  • Some interstate travel involving overnight absences will be required.
  • This role requires a National Criminal History check.

  • Desirable qualification: Bachelor of Science or similar
