Tutt Bryant Equipment is Australia’s largest multi brand National Distributor of earthmoving construction equipment representing leading equipment brands such as Yanmar, Bomag, Sumitomo, Metso and AJ Power. We recently celebrated our 80th Anniversary of supporting the vibrant Civil & Construction, Government, Quarrying, Infrastructure & Waste Management sectors of the economy – an industry sector that has thrived on the back of a booming Queensland economy.

With the current salesperson stepping up into a new area, an exciting opportunity to take on a vibrant territory has arisen. They will provide support and guidance whilst assisting you to settle in with our cleints.

This role will see the incumbent responsible for selling our premium earthmoving and associated products to our substantial existing and prospective customer base in the Gold Coast / Northern Rivers NSW territory . We have stock on the ground for immediate build and delivery to customers as well as a support structure (Brisbane based) to assist as required.

You will be an enthusiastic salesperson who will take responsibility for coordinating all aspects of your customer base – from introducing and developing our brands, determining customer needs, quoting machines and handing over the equipment ready for work – the real fun part!

An understanding of the earthmoving, civil and building industry would be advantageous.

Core skills required in the role include:

  • Experience in field sales

  • Demonstrated ability to develop customers and products and close sales

  • Proven ability to manage a large sales territory and customer portfolio

  • A basic earthmoving / mechanical understanding

  • Exceptional customer focus with excellent communication (both internal and external) & literacy skills.

  • Diligence, excellent prioritisation, time management and problem solving skills

  • Proven background in utilising a CRM system for customer tracking and reporting

  • Ability to work well autonomously as well as in a team environment
