About the Role
It is an ideal opportunity for someone passionate about both sales and sustainability. The Sales and Marketing Officer will help drive business growth and market presence through effective sales and marketing strategies. The role is commission-based , meaning the more sales you generate, the more you earn.
You’ll be responsible for engaging with potential clients and nurturing customer relationships on a daily basis. You will also be creating and actioning sales strategies across product lines that includes premium mulches, soils, and composts.
Plus…you'll actively contribute to increasing our market exposure through both traditional and digital marketing channels by the creation of marketing content and managing social media engagement.
The role reports to the Site Manager and your work location is based at Two Wells, but also includes travel within South Australia.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Solid customer service approach with a focus on long term relationships and an enjoyment to approach new customers
- Passion for soil is a bonus; working closely with it and with organic products, having an appreciation for healthy soil. Landscaping, Vegetable Growing & Soil experience is very welcome
- High Sales orientation, drive and demonstrated experience in increasing sales and company growth
- A friendly level of interpersonal and written skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Sound marketing skills to identify new opportunities and deliver effective online content and show ability in website management
- Dedicated work ethos balanced with reliability and flexibility
- Strong time management and prioritising ability
