Eandi Supervisor (Gas Turbine Experience)

Description:

We are currently seeking experienced E&I Supervisors with expertise in gas turbines to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in maintenance, troubleshooting, and calibration of electrical and instrumentation systems related to gas turbines in industrial settings.
This is a 4 week shutdown in May offering 12.5 hour shifts with day and night shift on offer.

Key responsibilities will include: • Planning, coordinating and supervising daily activities of work crews • Ensure compliance with internal, client and legislative HSE requirements • Ensure quality, production and environmental requirements of project are me • Provide direction to relevant trades specific work requirements • Supervise, coach and mentor direct reports; ensure that site workers have the necessary competencies to undertake assigned tasks • Communicate with client representatives on a day to day basis, to plan work, keep them informed of progress, resolve any issues of concern and identify variations or additional work required • Development of improved methods of working • Identify and drive cost savings and safety improvement initiatives and report on lessons learned and completion/outcomes to the business.
What you will bring: • Minimum 4 years extensive Supervisory experience in the Oil & Gas sector is highly desirable • QLD Electrical Trade and current licence • Gas Turbine maintenance experience • Experience leading a team of electrical workers ranging from Electrical tradespersons, Apprentices and electrical trades assistants • The drive to get hands on and lead by example • EEHA & Cert IV in Electrical Instrumentation • Strong ability to manage time to achieve tight deadlines • Experience in effective planning, scheduling, budgets, variations, management of personnel, resources and equipment to meet Project requirements • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal • Proof of right to work in Australia
