About The Role
UGL is seeking expressions of interest for S26 Supervisors for an upcoming shutdown in the Pilbara, WA.
Key responsibility areas
Supervise and Lead: Directly manage and lead a team of E&I or SMP tradespeople to ensure seamless coordination and collaboration in executing project tasks. Safety Compliance: Enforce and promote a strong safety culture, ensuring that all SMP activities adhere to industry safety standards and company policies. Quality Assurance: Monitor and inspect E&I and SMP installations to ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and client expectations. Resource Allocation: Efficiently utilise resources, equipment, and materials to meet project requirements and deadlines. Communication: Foster effective communication within the SMP team and collaborate with other superintendent and project manager to address challenges and ensure smooth project progression. Problem Solving: Proactively identify and resolve issues related to E&I and SMP activities, providing innovative solutions to overcome obstacles. Documentation: Ensure accurate and timely documentation of E&I and SMP activities, including daily reports, and any required project documentation.
About You
You will inspire your team, draw on their diverse skills and create an environment where great ideas are heard, and everyone looks out for one another. Ideally you will have:
DMIR S26 Training – MANDATORY BHP Inducted (preferred) Minimum of 5 years of experience in E&I OR SMP supervision within a shutdown environment. Proficient knowledge of structural, mechanical, piping systems, and electrical. Strong leadership and communication skills. Familiarity with WA mining safety regulations. Proven track record of successfully managing teams White Card
