The Role
We are seeking a proactive SHEQ Advisor to play a key role in supporting and monitoring our Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality policies. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a dynamic team and make a positive impact on our company's success. The position will be based in South Australia.
Key responsibilities include:
  • Assist in implementing SHEQ manuals and ensuring compliance with updated safety, health, and environmental strategies.
  • Collaborate with SHEQ Managers to address client-specific SHEQ requirements and support the creation of SHE documents (SWMS, Risk Assessments, etc.).
  • Ensure environmental reporting compliance and investigate incidents, recommending corrective actions.
  • Support training on SHEQ topics in coordination with HR and assist with safety documentation and processes in the workshop.
  • Oversee high-risk plant inspections, manage HAZOB reporting, and maintain safety and electrical equipment registers.
Essential Skills / Qualifications/Experience
  • Cert IV in Work Health and Safety.
  • Senior First Aid & CPR Certificate.
  • C-Class Driver’s Licence.
  • Knowledge of legislative requirements and international safety, environment, and quality standards.
  • Strong record-keeping, attention to detail, and time management skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Internet use.
  • Excellent customer relationship management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently or in a team, managing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines.
  • National Police Clearance.
