The successful applicant will be responsible for managing the restaurant reservations at Layla Brisbane and delivering exceptional customer service in a fast paced, dynamic work environment.
The key responsibilities of this position include:
- Answering incoming calls and presenting a professional and friendly first point of contact for our customers.
- Responding to general enquiry emails.
- Reservations coordination for a la carte and group bookings.
- Converting enquiries to bookings, performing site visits and organisation of both a la carte and group bookings at Layla Brisbane.
- Administrative support to the Management team and Kitchen team.
- Assisting with the organisation and coordination of functions and events.
The key skills and attributes required are:
- Experience in a similar role and/or the hospitality industry
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- An excellent phone manner
- A genuine passion for customer service
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Excellent time management skills
- High level computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Immaculate presentation and grooming standards
- Experience using SevenRooms booking platform (preferable)
