Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, this executive leadership role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of corporate services—finance, procurement, infrastructure, food services, and residential aged care intake. You’ll be a key contributor to organisational strategy, helping to ensure BHS remains financially sustainable, operationally effective, and responsive to the evolving needs of our community and health system.
This is more than a back-office role. You’ll have a seat at the executive table and work directly with the Board, shaping how we manage resources, invest in our infrastructure, and deliver efficient, high-quality support services that enable safe and person-centred care.

Responsibilities
As the Director of Corporate Services, you will provide strategic and operational leadership across the key corporate functions that underpin the delivery of safe, high-quality care at Beechworth Health Service. Your portfolio spans financial management, procurement, infrastructure and facilities, food services, and residential aged care intake—ensuring these functions are efficient, compliant, and aligned with our strategic goals.
Key areas of responsibility include:Financial and Procurement Leadership - Oversee budgeting, financial reporting, procurement, and contract management to ensure transparency, sustainability, and value for money across the organisation.Facilities and Infrastructure - Lead the planning, maintenance, and development of physical infrastructure, including capital works, compliance with essential services, and environmental sustainability initiatives.Food Services and Aged Care Intake - Ensure safe, high-quality delivery of food services and oversee residential aged care intake processes in line with funding (AN-ACC) and regulatory requirements.Strategic Workforce and Team Leadership - Lead, develop, and support multidisciplinary teams within corporate services, promoting a high-performance culture, capability development, and alignment with organisational values.Governance, Risk, and Compliance - Drive strong governance, risk management, and compliance across all corporate service functions, including financial controls, safety standards, accreditation, and legislative obligations.Executive and Board Engagement - Contribute to strategic decision-making as part of the executive team. Attend Board and committee meetings to provide operational insights and support effective governance.Operational Excellence and Continuous Improvement - Foster a culture of innovation and quality improvement, ensuring that all services deliver measurable benefits to staff, patients, residents, and the broader community.
Qualifications
Essential:Tertiary qualifications in Finance, Accounting, Business Management or a related fieldExtensive experience in financial management, corporate governance, and procurementProven leadership in managing multi-disciplinary teams within complex organisationsStrong understanding of healthcare funding models, particularly Residential Aged Care (AN-ACC)Demonstrated experience overseeing essential services including facilities, food services, maintenance, security, fleet, and wasteSkilled in contract negotiation, service agreements, and leading capital works projectsHigh-level analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
Desirable:Postgraduate qualifications in business, finance, health administration, or related disciplineExperience working with government departments, funding bodies, and regulatory agenciesKnowledge of accreditation standards, compliance frameworks, and enterprise risk management
