Sunshine Coast Radiology is part of the Imaging Queensland and Integral Diagnostic group (IDX), one of the largest Radiology providers in Australia with 150 practices located in Queensland, Victoria, Tasmania, SA, WA and New Zealand.
Sunshine Coast Radiology (SCR) has been operating for over 16 years on the Sunshine Coast, offering comprehensive practices with services including CT, MRI, Mammography, BMD, general X-Ray, Ultrasound to Nuclear Medicine.

Key Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE
Sunshine Coast Radiology has the opportunity for a motivated Medical Receptionist to join our busy front desk. Based at our Warana practice, you will deliver outstanding customer service for patients wishing to book and attend appointments at our Sunshine Coast practice that include X-ray, Ultrasound, CT, Mammography and interventional procedures.
Working a 9-day fortnight Monday to Friday rostered between the hours 7.30am-5.15pm. No weekends!
WHAT A DAY LOOKS LIKE
First impression of the practice as you meet and greet patients at the front desk.
Cash handling and patient account processing to include Medicare and Health funds
Attend staff meetings and participate in company training sessions
Comply with procedures, policies, regulations and standards which impact upon the position and the Radiology Department, such as workplace health and safety, and other HR policies.
Liaise with referrers, doctors, patients for delivery of patient medical results

Medical, Dental, Allied Health Care, Hospital or Radiology, Medical Imaging experience in front desk highly regarded
Aptitude for understanding medical terminology
Bookings system knowledge and strong computer skills
Excellent presentation, a high level of communication and patient care skills - be welcoming and friendly!
