The Community Programs & Partnerships Lead role is responsible for planning and delivering the club's community programs, events and experiences in schools and within the community. This can include programs such as
- Active Adelaide 36ers Program
- School holiday clinics
- Community themed D&I games
- High Performance Schools and Partnerships
- Sensory Room coordination on game days
- Defence Community Program and Partnership
- School engagements & in school visits
This role will also coordinate a range of the club's partnerships that are directly related to community stakeholders and outcomes. This includes planning and delivering contracted benefits, assisting with partner reviews, organising player appearances and coaching clinics.
The objective of the role is to ensure all community programs, partnerships, events and experiences are planned and delivered to exceptional standards ensuring best practice and industry leading initiatives.
The individual will work to build and nurture relationships with external organisations, community groups and other stakeholders to ensure the success and growth of the programs.
Working closely with internal teams to ensure that community programs align with organisation priorities and are effectively integrated and promoted through club channels.
The successful candidate will be a driven, well organised individual who will endeavour to make their mark representing a professional sporting organisation within the community.
It’s essential to have excellent communication and written skills as well as be self-motivated and able to carry out duties autonomously as well as work effectively in a team environment.
3+ years’ experience in a corporate or sporting environment in partnerships or community roles is desired, and/or studies in a relevant field.
Additionally, this role may be required to work on game days, to support events and activations across the club.
