We are now in an exciting phase of growth and are looking for a highly experienced Account Manager to lead our financial operations. You'll work closely with the General Manager and the Group CFO to help drive financial performance and contribute directly to strategic decision-making.

About the Role
This is a leadership position within ASC’s finance team. You will be responsible for managing all day-to-day accounting operations, reporting, payroll, and cash flow oversight. You will also support strategic planning alongside senior leadership, contributing to the company’s continued success.
The successful applicant will be confident working independently, proactive in solving problems, and passionate about delivering accuracy and insight through financial management.
Key Responsibilities
- Full responsibility for managing daily accounting operations
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable, invoicing, reconciliations, and debt collection
- Manage end-to-end payroll, including superannuation, leave, and entitlements
- Ensure compliance with Australian tax and financial reporting regulations (GST, BAS, etc.)
- Collaborate closely with the General Manager and Group CFO on strategic financial planning
- Maintain accurate financial records and support regular reporting cycles (month-end/year-end)
- Monitor cash flow, track key financial KPIs, and recommend improvements where appropriate
- Liaise with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate billing and cost allocation
- Mentor and oversee junior accounts support where applicable
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a finance or accounting role with leadership responsibilities
- Strong proficiency in Xero is essential
- Experience with Simpro is highly desirable
- Deep understanding of Australian payroll, tax, and bookkeeping standards
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines independently
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams
- High attention to detail and strong analytical mindset
- Relevant qualifications in accounting, finance, or bookkeeping are required
