The Opportunity

Visy Retail Services partners with major retailers to deliver outstanding in-store execution and customer service. Our Consumer Products division is seeking a Store Account Manager to oversee vendor support activities within an identified group of stores.

Reporting to the State Sales Manager, you will play a key role in account management, product training, merchandising, and sales. You will be responsible for maintaining high service standards, developing relationships with key stakeholders, and ensuring Visy’s success within major hardware brand stores.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain relationships with major hardware brand store management teams to drive sales and ensure operational excellence.

  • Conduct regular store visits, providing product training and support to improve in-store performance.

  • Execute sales strategies and drive quarterly sales calendar initiatives.

  • Manage refit activities, ensuring seamless execution and communication with major hardware brand stakeholders.

  • Complete site audits, compliance checks, and safety assessments in line with Visy Retail Services and major hardware brand policies.

  • Ensure all vendor activities comply with Work Health & Safety (WHS) standards.

  • Maintain accurate records and reporting using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools.

  • Travel regularly, including overnight stays as required to service regional and interstate store locations.

What You Will Bring to the Team

  • Experience in sales, merchandising, or account management within trade/hardware retail industries.

  • Previous experience with major hardware brand procedures, products, and processes is highly regarded.

  • Strong communication and customer relationship management skills.

  • Ability to work autonomously, manage multiple priorities, and meet performance targets.

  • Competency in product training, refit work, and safe handling of tools and equipment.

  • Proficiency with iPad/iPhone technology for daily operations.

Certifications & Licences

  • Mandatory: Valid Driver’s Licence.

  • Desirable: EWP/Wave Licence.
