The Role
An opportunity has become available for a Dietitian to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 12 000-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia.
You will
Manage an allocated workload and participate in clinical rotation to deliver professional level nutrition and dietetic services to patients
Undertake routine nutrition assessment, implementation and evaluation tasks within established clinical and departmental protocols, policy and procedures
Assist in the development and/or review of clinical practices, procedures and protocols in a work area using the principles of evidence based practice under the guidance of senior staff
Actively participate in multidisciplinary teams, and in service improvement activities, working cooperatively and effectively within the team
About you
To be successful in this position you will require:
Tertiary degree in Nutrition and Dietetics
Working with Children check/Blue Card (GCH will cover cost)
Evidence of vaccination, or be able to be vaccinated against and remain vaccinated against - Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Hepatitis B
Tuberculosis screening, to identify if the tuberculosis vaccination may be required
Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed
Criminal History Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover cost)

Salary
Temporary full time (12 months with the possibility of extension)
Base salary ranging from $79 051 - $116 189 per annum
