Groves is currently seeking candidates to be a Bus Driver and Property Officer for a full time (7.6 hours per day + Split Shift allowance) position who will join the Facilities team. The successful candidate will need to have the following skills or experience:
Driver skills:
- Clear driving history
- Current Driver authorisation from Queensland Transport
- Current driver license (MR or higher)
- School bus experience preferred
Property duties
- Maintaining site landscaping, lawns and gardens
- Keeping grounds free from litter and debris, and emptying bins
- Basic upkeep of buildings and site, including minor repairs
- Operating and maintaining hand tools and power tools

All applicants must be:
- an Australian Citizen or
- a permanent resident or
- have an appropriate permit to work in Australia
and have or be able to gain:
- Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
- First Aid certificate
- Open, manual drivers’ license
Please note, a Pre-Employment Functional Assessment will also be required to ensure the employee has the capacity to perform the inherent requirements of the role.
