About the role
Do you have a keen eye for detail and a passion for governance? We are seeking a proactive and organised professional to support our Governance team.
Key Responsibilities

Deliver high-level administrative and governance support, ensuring efficient operations and compliance with regulations.

Assist in preparing and distributing agendas, minutes, reports, and correspondence.

Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence, including monitoring shared inboxes.

Administer Freedom of Information (FOI) processes as per legislative requirements.

Support governance policy implementation and review.

Assist in handling complaints and community concerns professionally.

Prepare statutory reports and maintain governance registers.
What You’ll Bring

Experience in governance, compliance, records, or relevant administration.

Strong skills in document management, research, and policy development.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.

Ability to work independently with complex documents and legislation.

Strong attention to detail and time management skills.

Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and maintain confidentiality.
-
Highly regarded will be a knowledge of the Local Government Act 1995 and related regulations.
