About the Role

Our Case Managers work standard contact and non-contact hours each week. The position calls for flexibility and adaptability around your case load and the young person’s needs and will be based in our North Coast area.

Responsibilities include;

  • Supervision of Youth workers, facilitation of team meetings and managing small teams.
  • Coaching and development of Youth Workers.
  • Case planning and case inductions.
  • Liaison with key stakeholders and support agencies including child protection agencies and departments in relevant states.
  • Establishing a therapeutic care environment and positively managing the young person’s behaviour.
  • Ensuring that a high standard of meal planning, cleanliness, and activities are planned and maintained in the best interest of the young person in the home environment.
  • Positive role model of workplace health and safety culture.
  • Role modelling Safe Places for Children Values: Supportive, Responsive, Professional, United, and Passionate.
  • Ensuring delivery of high-quality care leading to positive outcomes for children.

About You

Experience/Personal attributes we’re looking for:

  • A positive motivated person with a minimum of 6 months’ experience working with children with significant pain-based behaviours.
  • Minimum qualification of Certificate IV in Child, Youth and Family Intervention or other recognised qualification.
  • Ability to work shifts and in-home sleepovers.
  • Ability to accommodate roster changes and on-call requirements at short notice. We strive to finalise rosters at least 2 weeks in advance, although changes may occur due to the dynamic nature of work.
  • Ability to participate in weekly meetings.

Applicants must be eligible to live and work in Australia, hold an unrestricted driver's license, and be willing to undergo state-specific checks, including working with children clearance and relevant qualifications.
