About the Role
The Content and Marketing Specialist is a creative, team-oriented member of the School’s Advancement team, responsible for developing, implementing, and analysing integrated digital and offline marketing campaigns that drive enrolment growth and foster community engagement.
A key focus of this role is identifying and crafting compelling content that showcases HVGS as a dynamic learning community. By sharing impactful stories of our students, staff, and School, this role helps strengthen our connection with the broader community.
This position is a full-time permanent position.
Work Pattern: Monday to Friday - 8:00am to 4:30 pm with a meal break
Key Duties

Conceptualise and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns that drive enquiries from prospective families, attract high-calibre staff, enhance word-of-mouth, positions the School within the broader community and elevates HVGS’ unique value proposition and point of difference.

Develop and maintain an engaging content strategy and content calendar.

Create, repurpose, and distribute compelling visual, digital, and written content across internal and external communications, including publications, email marketing, the school website, social media, and other platforms.

Craft compelling video and photography stories of key school activities and events.

Manage the School’s social media presence and implement a creative, data-driven social media strategy.

Ensure brand consistency by enhancing the School’s visual identity, acting as the brand custodian, and maintaining alignment in messaging and tone across all channels.

Use analytics and tracking tools to assess the effectiveness of marketing initiatives and optimise strategies accordingly.

Maintain and optimise the School’s website and other digital platforms.

Act as the Event Manager for the School’s annual Community Picnic and HVGS’ Ignite and Unite Breakfast Events (2 per year) and Staff Christmas Luncheon

Provide support/leadership for other School events when required, including enrolment events.
About You

At least 3 years in a similar role

A bachelor’s degree in marketing or similar

Demonstrated digital marketing skills

Photography and videography capture and editing skills.

Proven ability to write and edit journalistic, marketing and communications materials and the ability to tell a great story.

Strong relational skills with a customer-centric mindset.

Strong organizational skills with an attention to detail and the ability to prioritize.

ICT skills at a medium to advanced level - competent with the Microsoft Office suite of applications, CANVA, website content management systems (CMS) and customer relationship management (CRM) platforms.

Currently holds a current Working with Children Check (required) or willing to obtain.
