What the role is

We are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable trainee and experienced Level 1 Soil Technicians, based at our Goulburn laboratory. The positions consist of hands-on testing, analytical assessment on data and or the preparation of test reports.

You will work closely with our Laboratory Manager and senior staff and will be trained to perform soil testing in accordance with relevant national and state standards.

On the job training is available for applicants with no prior experience.

About you

The successful candidates will possess:

  • A high level of initiative, flexibility and enthusiasm and be a team player;
  • Excellent communication skills, motivation and commitment to deliver work to the highest standard;
  • Hold a current Australian driver’s licence;
  • Hold a White Card and Nuclear Gauge- highly regarded, however, can be organised once employed.

Any previous experience in concrete and soils laboratories or the construction industry, while not necessary would be beneficial. School leavers are encouraged to apply.
