Salary: $68,338.78 - $70,468.73 + super.

About the role

  • Providing administrative support for the daily and ongoing operational demands of Xavier 10 North.

  • Working alongside the Nurse Unit Manager to assist with HR functions/administration and office management.

  • Good work life balance as the office-based role is Monday - Friday

  • One additional day off per month and 15% loading on annual leave taken.

About you

  • Demonstrated computer literary and experience using St Vincent's applications including Kronos and Oracle.

  • Demonstrated effective communication and interpersonal skills (both verbal and by phone).

  • Experience in working in a health care setting, the ability to be compassionate and demonstrated sensitive approach if/when dealing with patients and maintain confidentiality at all times.

  • Demonstrated commitment to own personal and professional development

  • Ability to work autonomously, whilst managing own workload and meeting deadlines effectively.

In this role you will be based at St Vincent’s hospital, Darlinghurst.

  • Closely partnered with universities & affiliated research institutes, many of which are located on-campus

  • Centres of excellence include heart & lung transplantation, bone marrow transplantation, cardiology, cancer care, AIDS/HIV, respiratory medicine, mental health, homeless health, drug & alcohol services, and correctional health
