About the Role
As the Manager, Research Implementation and Social Impact , you will play a pivotal role in integrating research and best practices into programs, evaluating their effectiveness, and ensuring meaningful, data-driven improvements. You will collaborate with the internal program and lived experience team, and external evaluation partners to build a strong framework for knowledge translation and impact measurement.
Key Responsibilities
- Translate research and best practices into actionable strategies.
- Develop and implement evaluation frameworks, performance metrics, and data collection methods to assess program effectiveness.
- Communicate program outcomes, successes, and challenges to internal and external stakeholders.
- Build relationships with researchers, policymakers, and practitioners to ensure knowledge is effectively applied.
- Provide leadership, support, and guidance to staff, fostering a collaborative and positive work environment.
- Identify risks, challenges, and opportunities for improvement and proactively implement solutions.
Essential Criteria:
- Qualifications in health, monitoring and evaluation, impact assessment, or a related field.
- Proven experience in research, knowledge translation, and program implementation.
- Expertise in designing and implementing evaluation frameworks and using data for program improvement.
- Strong leadership and management experience.
- High-level communication skills, including report writing and stakeholder engagement.
- Commitment to feminist and social justice principles
- Experience in the not-for-profit sector.
- Fluency in a language other than English.
- Experience working with diverse communities, including LGBTIQA+, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, people with disabilities, and those from multicultural backgrounds.
