Dynamic Receptionist/Administrator Needed For Kids Matters Ot

Kids Matters Occupational Therapy
Dalby Full-day Full-time

Description:

Come Join Our Dynamic Community at Kids Matters OT!

Are you searching for a role where you can truly make a difference and feel like you're part of something special? At Kids Matters OT, we're passionate about creating brighter futures for children and their families, and we'd love for you to join our warm and welcoming team!

Why You'll Love Being Part of Kids Matters OT:

  • Making a difference: We are making a difference to the lives of kids and families everyday as they overcome their challenges.

  • A Connected Team: Work alongside a group of genuinely caring individuals who lift each other up and celebrate our successes.

  • A Strong Culture Code: We believe in nurturing our team's well-being. Expect a collaborative and encouraging environment where your ideas are valued, and your growth is supported.

  • Meaningful Connections: Build genuine relationships with the wonderful children and families who visit us. You'll be their first point-of-contact with Kids Matters OT, making a real impact.

  • The Gift of Time: Enjoy a work-life balance with a 9-day fortnight.

  • Smart Savings: Maximize your take-home pay by reducing your taxable income through salary sacrificing.

In this important and challenging role, you'll be the first smile our families see, creating a positive and welcoming atmosphere. You'll be the heart of our reception and admin areas, providing exceptional support to our clients and OTs. Building those special connections with children and families, from the first phone call to the end of their therapy journey, is what makes this role so rewarding.

Here’s how you’ll excel in this role:

  • Welcome our clients with a warm and friendly smile, making them feel comfortable and cared for.

  • Respond to new client enquiries with accuracy, kindness and care.

  • Manage appointments for clinic and community visits with efficiency.

  • Handle payments from private health, Medicare, and NDIS with confidence and accuracy.

  • Attend to phone calls and emails in a professional and organized manner.

  • Assist with management of each therapist’s diary to ensure they are at the ‘just right’ capacity, while matching their individual skills and talents to the varied needs of our clients.

  • Contribute your ideas to improve our systems and procedures.

  • Keep our reception and waiting areas clean and inviting.

  • Manage our clinic supplies and equipment shop, ensuring everything is well-stocked.

  • Assist with co-ordination of maintenance issues.

  • Support other projects as they arise, contributing to our team's success.

You'll receive all the support and training you need to thrive in this role, and your contributions will be genuinely appreciated.

We're Looking for Someone Who:

  • Loves working as part of a close-knit team and brings a positive, can-do attitude.

  • Is organized, proactive and thrives in a busy and varied role. Proficiency with scheduling would be an advantage.

  • Works independently and collaboratively, with a mature and professional approach to their work.

  • Has a natural ability to connect with people and create a welcoming atmosphere.

  • Brings enthusiasm, confidence, and a good sense of humour to a busy environment.

  • While experience in a medical or allied health setting is a bonus, all training will be provided for the right candidate!

If this sounds like you, we look forward to hearing from you.
