We are seeking a highly organized and professional Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our company and will provide administrative support across the organization. The Receptionist will handle the flow of people through the business and ensure that all receptionist responsibilities are completed accurately and delivered with high quality and in a timely manner.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests as soon as they arrive at the office
- Direct visitors to the appropriate person and office
- Answer, screen and forward incoming phone calls
- Ensure reception area is tidy and presentable, with all necessary stationery and material (e.g. pens, forms and brochures)
- Receive, sort and distribute daily mail/deliveries
- Maintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk (monitor logbook, issue visitor badges)
- Perform other clerical receptionist duties such as filing, photocopying, transcribing and faxing
Qualifications:
- Proven work experience as a Receptionist, Front Office Representative or similar role
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Hands-on experience with office equipment (e.g. fax machines and printers)
- Professional attitude and appearance
- Solid written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise
- Excellent organizational skills
- Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
Skills Required:
- Exceptional Organisational Skills
- Ability to manage and prioritise multiple tasks in a busy front-of-house environment.
- Proficient in maintaining an organised reception area, schedules, and documentation.
- Capable of transitioning the front-of-house role to align with NCHHS's Community Health Hub focus.
- Confident in mentoring and training a trainee for both Brookwater and Sunshine Coast offices.
- Comfortable taking charge of a fast-paced environment and introducing new processes.
- Proactive in problem-solving and implementing innovative ideas for improvement.
- Bubbly and welcoming personality with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Able to engage with clients, visitors, and staff in a professional, friendly, and empathetic manner.
- Strong ability to work with cross-functional teams, including administration, client services, and rostering.
- Capable of supporting multiple locations and liaising with staff across Brookwater and Sunshine Coast offices.
- Willingness to travel to the Sunshine Coast office as required.
