Faith Lutheran College Plainland is seeking an experienced IT Systems Administrator to join our growing IT Services Department. As our college expands its footprint and impact in the education sector, this role presents an exciting opportunity to support and enhance our IT services and infrastructure.

About the Role
Reporting to the IT Manager, the IT Systems Administrator is responsible for the implementation, operation, and support of IT products and services for staff and students. As a technical expert, you will assist in designing and configuring network infrastructure, operating systems, and applications while ensuring IT services meet or exceed business expectations.
Key responsibilities include:

Provide high level IT support to various stakeholders

Assist in the management and maintenance of systems, servers and devices

Manage backup systems, user accounts, and other IT tasks as required

What you need to succeed

Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology or equivalent

Proven experience as a Systems Administrator or similar role

Experience in an education environment (advantageous)

Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills for network and desktop problems

Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders at all levels in the College

Proficiency in Windows server and PC operating systems, virtual server infrastructure (VMWare and Hyper-V) and administrative expertise in Microsoft 365, including SharePoint, Teams and Intune

Current Working with Children Blue Card (or ability to obtain)
